Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic donated over $3,000 to a Magic fan’s cancer GoFundMe page.

Phil Harlow posted a GoFundMe campaign on Twitter this week for his girlfriend’s father, who is currently dealing with cancer. Vucevic saw the GoFundMe page and donated £2,500 to the campaign, which comes out to a little over $3,000.

This is a great gesture by Nikola Vucevic and a big reason why the Orlando community loves him. Vucevic signed a $100 million contract with the Magic this summer and he's putting some of that money to good use.

Vucevic averaged 20.8 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game in 2018-19 for the Magic. The big man shot 51.8 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.9 percent from the free-throw line while recording 60 double-doubles.

This past season, the Magic made the playoffs for the first time since 2012 — the final season of the Dwight Howard era. Orlando lost to the Toronto Raptors in five games in the first round, but it was still good experience for a team that is on the rise in the Eastern Conference.

These are the type of stories which show NBA players have compassion. Vucevic saw a family was in need and took action. He's setting a good example for the youth in Orlando and all around the world for that matter.
