The Orlando Magic have made it well known they're looking to trade veteran Terrence Ross this summer. The organization is going full youth mode and took a notable step in doing so after selecting Paolo Banchero number one overall in the 2022 NBA Draft on Thursday.

Well, it appears Ross thought he was literally on the move during the draft. A fan tried to fool the Magic SG on a live stream saying he was just traded to the Clippers, per ESPN. Ross initially thought it was true, too. Just take a look at his reaction.

Via ClutchPoints:

Priceless. Sorry, Terrence. You're not out of Orlando yet. The former Raptor averaged 10 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists last season in 63 games off the bench. At 31 years old, he could certainly be more useful elsewhere because it's clear what direction the Magic are going in. I'm sure Ross would've loved to go to the Clippers, too. They're going to be a serious contender next season with Kawhi Leonard back.

The Magic also took Caleb Houstan 32nd overall in Thursday's draft but Banchero is undoubtedly the headliner. Many believed Jabari Smith Jr was going to be selected with the top pick but Orlando shocked the basketball world by taking Banchero instead. He should fit in seamlessly right away and could be the most NBA-ready player in this entire class.

With the way things are shaping up though, it doesn't appear Terrence Ross will play with him. It'll be interesting to see where the vet ends up. Who knows, maybe it will be the Clips.
