PacMan's back. Arguably the greatest boxer in Filipino history, Manny Pacquiao will be making his return to the ring in December. The boxing icon retired to focus on his presidential campaign in the Philippines. Now, he'll be back and ready to kick some ass in the ring.

However, the circumstances surrounding Pac-Man's return is… atypical, to say the least. For one, Manny Pacquiao will be going up against a Korean YouTuber named DK Yoo. This seems to be another bid by Yoo to legitimize his oft-criticized “Warfare Combat Systems” martial arts.

As you may have guessed, this bout is also going to be an exhibition match. The two met each other in Pacquiao's hometown of General Santos City for the official contract signing. (via Instagram)

This isn't the first time Yoo is battling a trained combat athlete in his career. The Korean YouTuber fought MMA legend Bradley Scott in a pay-per-view event a few months ago. While no official verdict was announced, Yoo was thoroughly outclassed by Scott in the six-round bout.

Yoo will have the size advantage over Pacquiao in this matchup. As most fans know, though, that hasn't stopped the Filipino boxer from dominating his foes. The PacMan was seen as an underdog many times during his career, and yet he prevailed over stiff competition. His blinding speed and surprising power made for some entertaining matches against some of the boxing greats.

Pacquiao's last official bout was a unanimous loss to Yordenis Ugas back in 2021. He ended his professional career with a stellar record: 62 wins to 8 defeats and 2 draws, with 39 of his wins coming by way of knock-out.
