Former NBA swingman and All The Smoke podcast co-host Matt Barnes wants Kwame Brown to come on the show. Or maybe he wants to box? Possibly both.

Barnes took to Instagram on Wednesday suggesting Brown stop running his mouth on social media:

“Kwame Brown, brother Brown, you've been ranting for about 5 days now,” Matt Barnes said, via TMZ Sports. “Your cry for help, your need for attention worked.”

Barnes continued, inviting Brown to come on the podcast and later saying they can scrap beforehand if that's something that needs to get done:

“You got a story to tell obviously. You're hurt. Like I said, you can play it off with humor, but you're hurt and I get it,” Matt Barnes said, via TMZ. “But, come on the show…

“Talk that s***, tell your story face-to-face…”If me and you gotta box before, during or after and shake hands to get this s*** done, you know I'm always with the s***.”

It's always been abundantly clear Matt Barnes does not duck anyone or anything. Ever heard the Derek Fisher story?Anyway, Barnes wants Brown to give a more personal account of his NBA journey and air out his grievances on the podcast.

Brown–the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft–has been incredibly vocal in the past few days, alleging Michael Jordan never wanted him on the Washington Wizards and basically taking shots at everyone, including Barnes.

It seems Barnes is willing to do what it takes to get Brown on the show and let him tell his story, including throwing hands.
