Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is continuing to amaze fans with an array of trick shots. The Mavs star is currently overseas competing in the FIBA World Cup, and just days after hitting an impressive shot in practice, it seems Doncic has once again pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
In a video released on Thursday, Doncic can be seen tossing the ball off of the wall behind the bench with just enough force to send it careening back toward the rim and into the net.
The footage is simply something you have to see to believe.
Luka Doncic is currently competing with the Slovenian National Team in the FIBA World Cup. He has every reason to be upbeat, as Slovenia is fresh off of a 15-point win over Cape Verde. Doncic was impressive in that contest, scoring 19 points to go along with seven rebounds and nine assists.
That performance came on the heels of Doncic's domination of Georgia, dropping 34 points in a 21-point Slovenian National Team win.
Back in the States, Doncic's Mavs have some work to do to overcome what was a shockingly poor performance in 2021. Despite trading for Kyrie Irving midway through the 2022-23 season, Dallas failed to make even the play-in game, leading to a slew of questions regarding the future of the franchise.
Still, if this latest trick shot is any indication, it appears that Doncic has not lost his ability to amaze both fans and players alike, whether it's during the game itself or at practice.
