Fashion's biggest night has arrived. The 2024 Met Gala is being held on May 6 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the celebrities have hit the red carpet to show off their take on this year's theme: “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The theme has a dress code of “The Garden of Time” and the celebrities did not come to play this year as they bring florals,

The Met Gala this year is being co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, and Bad Bunny. Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Chew are the honorary chairs and as always, the event is helmed by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.

2024 Met Gala Red Carpet: Live Updates

Zendaya

As one of the Met Gala co-chairs, Zendaya brings it in this moody floral piece. The Emmy-winning actress' colorful smokey eyes and vintage black veil set her look apart from the crowd.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid's take on the Met Gala was a fusion of the theme and old Hollywood glam. The model's dress is simple up top but the bottom ruffles with vines and yellow flowers. Hadid wore her hair short with minimal curls and a bold red lip.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez wore a form-fitting floral dress with a matching statement necklace. The singer wore subtle dangling earrings and a beige clutch with her outfit.

Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo knows how to shut down a red carpet. The Color Purple actor wore a white tuxedo blazer and flowy black trousers. For his floral decoration, he added a large black bouquet to his blazer.

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny served as a co-chair and is serving on this red carpet. The reggaeton artist wore a fitted navy blue suit with red pinstripes in the inner part of his trousers. To stay on theme he carried black flowers as he hit the carpet.

Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth who is a co-chair this year, went into the “time” element of the theme and while his outfit leans towards the basic side, the actor is still breaking hearts on the red carpet.

Ariana Grande looked lovely in white with floral embroidered into her corset. Grande's dress had a flowy bottom compared to her structured top. The singer wore her signature ponytail and had floral eyeshadow on her cheekbone.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner has arrived on the red carpet. The model had a plunging floral neckline and a v-cut outline across her midsection. Her outfit is reportedly an archival 1999 Alexander McQueen for Givenchy couture which has never been worn.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is a walking garden in her 2024 Met Gala look but still stayed true to her own personal style. The SKIMS founder wore a silver floral decorated gown and brought back her bleach blonde look. The reality star also wore a grey cardigan on top that fans are not going for online.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner wore a simple white dress to the red carpet this year and while she looks gorgeous, we don't see too much of her participating in this year's theme other than the not pictured flower in her bun.

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner also wore all-white to the red carpet and had a train in all decorated in large 3D floral print. The matriarch wore matching white gloves and her signature short haircut.

Tyla

One of the most interesting looks of the night was Tyla's sand dress. The “Water” singer's dress was made by actual sand she told Vogue and to stay on theme the singer also wore a sand hourglass.
