Giancarlo Stanton has hit a lot of home runs over the years. The New York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter is known for his immense power at the plate and is always among the leaders in home runs when healthy. His 348th smash at the big-league level might be his craziest one yet.

Facing Nathan Eovaldi during the Yankees' season opener against the Boston Red Sox, Stanton crushed a line drive into right field. Despite not getting that high off the ground, it got over Yankee Stadium's short porch because of how hard Staton hit it. This home run is one of a kind, as no other oppo taco has ever been hit with such a low launch angle.

Stanton has gone yard on line drives before but never to the opposite field. The Yankees needed him to come through with Gerrit Cole struggling against the Red Sox. Few players can hit as hard as he can. His power should allow him to take advantage of the Yankees' right-field fence throughout the season.

New York will need another big year out of Stanton to compete in a star-studded AL East. He will be making more frequent stops in the outfield so that the lineup can remain more flexible. After tallying 35 home runs in 139 games with the best home run percentage of his Yankees career last season, he is due for another big year.
