Back in the 2010-11 season, Nate Robinson and Shaquille O’Neal were teammates with the Boston Celtics. With their playful personalities, it’s not hard to imagine that they had a lot of fun during their practices. There was even a video that surfaced before where the former three-time Slam Dunk Contest champion dunked on O’Neal while he had his back turned.

Now, the two have reunited, although not in an NBA team’s roster, but for a flick, as they will co-star in the “Uncle Drew” film. Despite being dressed up as an old man, Robinson proved that he still has the hops to throw down a slam, and over The Diesel, no less.

Shaquille O’Neal himself uploaded the video on his Instagram account, and he can also be seen sharing a few laughs with the film crew on hand. He even lobbied for Robinson to be given another chance to play at the highest level in his caption, as he thinks he still has what it takes to compete against the best players in the world.

Only standing at 5-foot-9, Robinson made a name for himself as a high-flyer and a solid playmaker when he was still playing in the NBA. He attempted a comeback last year, and suited up for the Delaware 87ers of the G-League, but he failed to generate interest from NBA teams. He’s currently a player for Guaros de Lara in the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto in Venezuela.
