The 3-point contest participants for All-Star weekend have been announced by the NBA.

The contest will feature Davis Bertans of the Washington Wizards, Devonte’ Graham of the Charlotte Hornets, the reigning champion Joe Harris of the Brooklyn Nets, Buddy Hield of the Sacramento Kings, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, Duncan Robinson of the Miami Heat and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks:

This should be a pretty good contest. All of these guys are elite shooters from deep. Whoever gets hot as the rounds go by will win.

With the way Lillard has been shooting the ball lately for the Blazers, one could say he’s the favorite to win the contest. LaVine, who is not doing the dunk contest, will try and make the home Chicago crowd proud by winning the contest at the Bulls’ house, the United Center.

The NBA All-Star game will be fun and emotional this year. There are going to be a lot of tributes to Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Those will no doubt make a lot of the players and fans in attendance emotional considering Bryant’s death was such a devastating day for the entire NBA community.
