The 2020 NBA draft is just right around the corner, yet there is still no clear cut no. 1 overall pick from this year's class. Mock drafts are all over the place. The most common names at the top of the list are Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, and James Wiseman. However, unlike in previous drafts, no one has emerged from the pack as the sure fire first overall selection.

According to multiple sportsbooks such as bookmaker.eu and DraftKings Sportsbook, Anthony Edwards is the odds on favorite to hear his name first on November 18th. Most also have LaMelo Ball going at no. 2, with James Wiseman getting picked third. The likes of Deni Avdija, Killian Hayes, and Onyeka Okongwu have also emerged as dark horse candidates.

Despite all the uncertainty, Edwards is definitely a player worth taking with the no. 1 overall pick. The Georgia product has a ton of upside and showed tremendous scoring ability in his lone year in college. Likewise, he also has the potential to become a great two-way star in the NBA.

In fact, Edwards recently made a bold claim that he could be the next Dwyane Wade. The Miami Heat legend gave his stamp of approval and declared the 19-year old as the deserving first pick.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have the luxury of selecting first in this year's NBA draft. However, reports from Minnesota's camp have been all over the place as well, with recent ones claiming they could select Wiseman with the top pick, despite the 7-foot-1 lefty playing the same position as franchise star Karl-Anthony Towns. Previous reports claimed that Minnesota is looking to trade the pick to acquire a star that could help them win now.

The Golden State Warriors have the second overall selection in this year's draft. Much like the T-Wolves, it's still not clear what Golden State will do with this pick.
