Anthony Davis and Kendrick Nunn were involved in one of the top plays of Friday's Game 2 NBA Finals matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. Nunn amazingly blocked a Davis layup attempt, which was very impressive considering how Nunn is just 6-foot-2 against a 6-foot-10 AD.

The highlight play quickly made its rounds on social media, which prompted some of the best researchers in the world wide web to pull out an archaic Davis tweet about Nunn from 2011:

As they always say, the internet never forgets, and now was the perfect opportunity to pull out this tweet from the archives. While the complete context of the tweet remains unclear, what cannot be denied is that these two have some sort of history behind them.

As for Anthony Davis, though, he had an excellent performance for L.A. on Friday, finishing with 32 points on 15-of-20 shooting, to go along with 14 boards, an assist, and a steal in 40 minutes of play. His efficiency from the floor was off the charts in Game 2, and the same speaks volumes of how he absolutely dominated Miami in their second encounter in this year's Finals.

Nunn himself provided some quality minutes off the bench for the Heat, putting up 13 points on 3-of-7 from the field, with four rebounds, three assists, and that block. The rookie had a huge Game 1 for Miami, and followed it up with another noteworthy performance on Friday. Nunn has been handed with more minutes in the wake of Goran Dragic's foot injury.

The Lakers emerged with the victory, 124-114, and are now just two wins away from the coveted title.
