Following one season with Arizona, Deandre Ayton declared for the 2018 NBA Draft after averaging 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds. While there are many talented prospects in this year's draft, Ayton is widely considered to be the top pick.

On CBS Sports Radio with Tiki and Tierney, Ayton was asked which team he would like to play for:

“Honestly, I could see myself in Phoenix,” the 19-year-old said. “I could see a little Shaq and Kobe 2.0 (with Devin Booker).

The Phoenix Suns currently have the worst record in the entire league (19-58) and are 2.5 games ahead of the Atlanta Hawks and Memphis Grizzlies. As a result, they have a 25.0 percent chance of landing the first pick and a 64.2 percent chance of landing a top-three pick.

As Ayton will need to prove himself, Devin Booker has established himself as one of the league's rising stars in just his third season. In 54 appearances, the 21-year-old is averaging 24.9 points (43.2 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from the three-point line), 4.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 34.5 minutes.

While Ayton has high expectations should it ultimately happen, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant are one of the greatest duos in league history. Despite their feud over eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, it led to three consecutive championships in four NBA Finals appearances.

As this generation grew up watching O'Neal and Bryant, there will always be comparisons and the next dynamic duo could be forming soon in Phoenix.
