In Tuesday's duel between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a couple of rough exchanges.

The first one to strike was Booker who had a unique tactic to prevent KCP from getting open. He knows that KCP has that smooth stroke from deep. And so he did anything to deny the Lakers shooter the ball, even if it meant grabbing his feet.

KCP didn't let Booker get away from his antics in Los Angeles. During a fastbreak opportunity for Booker, KCP committed a hard foul that was slapped with a Flagrant 1. It looked like a good old hard foul but the referees saw some malice in KCP's antics.

Fortunately, things didn't escalate further. However, things didn't stay cool for much long after that. Booker was ejected due to a separate play that quickly became the talk of the town.

But in the end, it was Booker and the Suns who came out on top in Los Angeles, 114-104. They have won eight of their last 10 games and are actually second in the West behind the Utah Jazz and currently above the Lakers via tiebreaker rules. It was a game with plenty of physicality and technical fouls. The Suns definitely deserved that W.

The Lakers, for their part, continue to struggle without Anthony Davis in the roster. This loss is their sixth over the last 10 games.
