It's Thanksgiving, and it's a chance for NBA players to take a break from the daily grind and spend time with their families, friends and loved ones.
Sure enough, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Houston Rockets dynamo Russell Westbrook, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and other NBAers did not waste the opportunity to make the most of the one-day break.
Westbrook, who had a pre-Thanksgiving event in the Boys and Girls Club in Houston, enjoyed the day with his wife Nina Earl and his three kids.
We had a great time serving Thanksgiving dinner to many families at the Boys and Girls club in Houston. Nothing better than putting a smile on peoples facing during a time of giving. #whynot #whynotgiveback pic.twitter.com/ok8yc7jNDl

Curry may be spending a lot of time at home as he recovers from his hand injury, but that did not stop him from giving more time with his wife and children.

The same goes for Love, who opted to celebrate Thanksgiving with her girlfriend Kate Bock.

Meanwhile, Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter, who is far from his family, decided to celebrate with his fans and took to Twitter to engage with them. He also sent an inspiring message to everyone, encouraging people to never take their families for granted.
What’s the best Turkey joke you got for me ? 😂🦃

Draymond Green, on the other hand, seemed he can't get enough basketball. Apparently, he watched Alabama's loss to Iowa State and shared his opinion about the game after.
I had no clue Nate Oats was coaching at Alabama. This dude has won at every level he’s coached at… It won’t be long before he get the tide rolling!! Much Respect!

Here's how the rest of the NBA celebrated Thanksgiving. For what it's worth, we now know that Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie's favorite Thanksgiving dessert is Peach Cobbler.
