LaVar Ball said in the months leading up to the NBA Draft his son LiAngelo Ball would be drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, but unlike LaVar's wishes, not only was he not drafted by the purple and gold, he didn't hear his name called in the draft.

LaVar was asked about his son's next step after not being drafted, and he gave a very non-Ball Family response. Instead of making more promises, or bashing someone, he just said the families sights are now set on the Summer League for LiAngelo.

“What’s next for him is to play in the Summer League,” LaVar Ball said. “Like I said, whether he’s drafted or not, whether you’re drafted or not, you gotta produce in the Summer League

Where exactly summer ball is for LiAngelo Ball is still undecided though. While a lot of NBA free agents signed two way contracts early on Friday morning, there hasn't been a lot of talk about teams having much interest for the second oldest Ball kid.

There have been questions by some if Ball will even get a shot at the Summer League. He probably has the talent to play in the Summer League, but the Ball family brings with them a lot of baggage wherever they go, and a lot of teams probably aren't willing to bring that on, especially for a guy who might not even make the G-League.

If LiAngelo doesn't make a summer league team, it will probably be back overseas for the Ball family, as he still tries to live out his NBA dream.
