The NBA has announced the 2019 All-Star reserves.

The East reserves are Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo, Detroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin, Milwaukee Bucks small forward Khris Middleton, Philadelphia 76ers point-forward Ben Simmons and Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal.

The West reserves are Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook, Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson, New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, San Antonio Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns.

Khris Middleton, Ben Simmons and Nikola Jokic will be making their first NBA All-Star team. The game takes place in Charlotte this season at the Spectrum Center. Middleton will join his teammate, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, while Simmons will join Sixers center Joel Embiid.

The NBA All-Star game is the best basketball pickup game in the world. Usually, defense is never played, but the players have been talking about how they want the game to be competitive this season. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo are the two captains.

The NBA All-Star draft will be televised this season, so fans will get to see who the first and last picks are.
