The NBA Rookie of the Year race has been fairly one-sided thus far. No. 1 pick Zion Williamson missed the first 45 games of the season and No. 2 pick Ja Morant has led the Memphis Grizzlies to a possible playoff spot.

With the Rising Stars Challenge pitting the NBA's top rookies and second-year players against each other this weekend, the NBA's young talent gave their opinion on who will take home the 2020 NBA Rookie of the Year.

The majority of the players interviewed vouched for Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant who, after being drafted second overall, is averaging 17.6 points, 7.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from deep.

As for Williamson, the 6-foot-6, 285-pound forward has put up 22.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game but has only appeared in 10 games.

The other candidates for Rookie of the Year include New York Knicks wing R.J. Barrett, Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura and Miami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn.
