This year's All-Star game featured a surprising lineup. LeBron James and Stephen Curry received the most All-Stsr votes in their conferences and were named team captains as a result. On the day that Curry and James named their team selections, however, it was clear that James had the better team.

James selected Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins, and Anthony Davis just to name a few. As you can see, he essentially picked some of the league's most talented players on his team, forging a squad that could wipe out any current NBA team.

Curry, on the other hand, selected The Greek Freak, Damian Lillard, and Joel Embiid as some of his players. Curry assembled a fast, shooting team, while James went with star power. The clash between two teams ended up becoming a phenomenal showdown. Team LeBron ended up escaping with a 148-145 victory, thanks to a monster performance by James and some incredible close-out defense from preventing Curry from draining a tying 3-point shot in the final seconds. Nevertheless, Team Curry performed better than most thought and led the game most of the way.

Interestingly, many fans have started to wonder who would win in a 7-game series. The users on Reddit were especially pondering a potential playoff series between the two teams and who would emerge victorious.

Team LeBron is the better team overall. It simply has the star power to win, but Team Curry is much quicker and a better shooting team, something that was evident during last night's game. Team LeBron has two of the best players in the NBA in James and Durant, but Team Curry has two of the best shooters in Curry and Klay Thompson. The overall matchup might end up being closer than some might think.

While it is impossible for both teams to face each other in a 7-game series, it sure is entertaining thinking of the possible results.
