The Chicago Bulls are (32-19) which has them tied for the East lead with the Miami Heat. They are currently the 1-seed because of win percentage. The Bulls are coming off a bad loss to the Toronto Raptors in overtime last night. They were out-rebounded by the Raptors' whose tallest player is 6-foot-8. Chicago must bounce back against a favorable opponent Friday night. The Indiana Pacers are (19-34) on the season which puts them 13th in the East. They will not make the postseason unless they string together a bunch of wins starting now. The Pacers are coming off of a loss to the Orlando Magic 119-118.

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread
The Bulls are coming into this game as the favorites on the road and that is the right call. These two teams already meet for the fourth time this season with the Bulls winning the last game 108-106. The Pacers are just (2-7) in the division and don't pose much of a threat against the top-seeded Bulls. The last 10 games haven't been too kind to the Bulls, however, as they are just (5-5) and allowing 113.5 points per game. The good news is that the Pacers are allowing 122.5 points per game so the Bulls have a chance at scoring a ton of points tonight.
Chicago will already be without Lonzo Ball tonight, but they could be without Zach Lavine and Coby White as well. Both are questionable for tonight's game and like;y will be game-time decisions. As long as DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic are playing, the Bulls will have a chance to cover this spread. Chicago is 28-20-1 against the spread this season.
Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread
The Pacers are the underdogs here but the spread isn't very high. I'm not sure why the spread isn't higher because the Pacers will be without Demantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, T.J. Warren, T.J McConnell and Myles Turner. Isaiah Jackson is out as well and a few other roles players are questionable. The Pacers are on thin ice right now and they are facing the top team in the East. The Bulls have a huge advantage in this game so the Pacers will need some unfamiliar names to really step up tonight.
Caris LeVert, Justin Holiday, and Torrey Craig need to repeat their performances from their last game against the Magic. They combined for 61 points in the loss, but also saw guard Terry Taylor come off the bench and score 24 and grab a ridiculous 16 rebounds. Lance Stephenson has been re-signed for the rest of the season so hopefully, he can add some veteran leadership to this young and struggling squad. It's going to take an all-out performance from the Pacers to cover this spread here.
Final Bulls-Pacers Prediction & Pick
Take the Bulls as this should end up a blowout if the Pacers aren't careful. I'm not sure why the Bulls aren't favored by more. Even if Zach Lavine doesn't play the Bulls are a much better team.
Final Bulls-Pacers Prediction & Pick: Bulls -2.5 (-108)
