Indiana has won four of their last six games, and could be in a good spot for another victory on Tuesday. The Pacers will be on three days rest when this one tips off, while the Heat will be playing their third game in four nights, shorthanded. Indiana is perhaps better than their 13-18 record this season, as they have the sixth best point differential in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers continue to be without TJ Warren and TJ McConnell due to injury and currently have no players in health and safety protocols.

Indiana has covered in four of their last six games, but is 0-6 against the spread as a road favorite this season. The Pacers are 6-11-1 vs. the spread as a favorite overall this season, and 3-11 on the road outright.

Why The Heat Could Cover The Spread

Miami is plagued by injury at the moment. Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, Caleb Martin, Markieff Morris, Victor Oladipo and PJ Tucker all look likely to remain out for Tuesday's game. Tyler Herro is listed as questionable as of Tuesday morning. The Heat have been able to manage without some of their key players as they are 18-13 and sit as the No. 5 seed in the East entering play on Tuesday. This will be challenge however playing shorthanded vs. a well-rested Indiana team.

The Heat are 9-2 vs. the spread as underdogs this season, and 3-0 against the number as home dogs. These numbers however are mostly useless because Miami does not typically have to play this shorthanded. Still, the Heat have been scrappy of late, covering in four of their last six games while playing without key guys. Miami is definitely capable of covering and winning vs. the Pacers at home on Tuesday night.

Final Pacers-Heat Prediction and Pick

This should be a close one, as the Heat are always competitive at home. Indiana may be the better team in this spot, but they will be on the road. The rest edge could be the biggest factor in this spot as a well-rested Pacers team may be too much for Miami playing their third game in four nights without so many key players.

Take the Pacers to win and cover vs. the Heat on Tuesday despite being favorites on the road. Indiana has been off for days now while Miami has continued to navigate their schedule without several veterans and their two most important players in Butler and Adebayo.

Final Pacers-Heat Prediction & Pick: Pacers -2 (-110)
