The Golden State Warriors got bounced in the play-in tournament by Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies. Stephen Curry had a fantastic season and finished as a finalist for MVP. Without Klay Thompson, he willed his team to an 8-seed before being ousted by the Grizzlies. However, the Warriors fans are already recruiting another superstar to join their team.

With the Los Angeles Clippers down 0-2 in their series vs the Dallas Mavericks, Dubs fans have flocked to social media in an effort to bring Kawhi Leonard to Golden State in the offseason.

That looks interesting, to say the least. Can you imagine a lineup of Curry, Klay, Draymond Green, and Kawhi Leonard? That would immediately put the Dubs as title contenders in the Western Conference and lead to a potential Warriors-Lakers Western Conference Finals series.

These images have to have Warriors fans punching the air in excitement, right? The potential starting lineup Steve Kerr could use could very well be the best in the NBA, at least on paper. It would also make for must-watch television on a nightly basis, which the Warriors already are with Curry and will be even more with the return of Klay.

The recruiting pitches keep coming, and if the Clippers do lose in the first round against the Mavs, or lose in general before reaching the NBA Finals, maybe Kawhi seriously considers playing elsewhere in 2021. The all-out recruiting efforts are only just beginning. Can you even imagine what would happen if the Clippers do get bounced early?

While the Warriors are watching the NBA Playoffs at home, maybe Bob Myers and Golden State have an idea of some sort and could potentially try and lure Leonard there in the offseason. Either way, it's hilarious to see and the possibility of Leonard dashing after another early playoff exit isn't out of the realm of possibility.
