We're now less than one month away before the new NBA season begins, which means that training camp is set to commence in one week. A number of squads still have roster spots available for the upcoming campaign, which has resulted in the name of ex-Los Angeles Lakers guard Avery Bradley being linked to a couple of big-market teams.
Both the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat have recently been linked to a potential move for Bradley, who currently still remains a free agent. According to NBA insider Marc J. Spears of ESPN, Bradley will be working out with the Dubs this week, along with two other former teammates of the Lakers' LeBron James:
Bradley's spot with the Warriors is anything but guaranteed. He will be going up against a high-profile name such as Isaiah Thomas, as well as a former Golden State player in Quinn Cook.
The Miami Heat is another team that has been rumored to be interested in Avery Bradley, but at this point, it looks like a reunion is not imminent:
Bradley signed as a free agent with the Heat prior to the start of the previous season, but Miami traded him to the Houston Rockets a few months later. He failed to make an impact on the team, which is probably why the Heat aren't interested in bringing the ex-Lakers guard back to Miami right now.
Bradley, 30, was part of the Los Angeles Lakers' title-winning squad in 2020 (although he did not join them in the bubble). He is also a two-time All-Defensive team player.
