LOS ANGELES – NBA teams now have less than 48 hours until the NBA's trade deadline. While many contenders look to make deals to improve their rosters, Paul George and the LA Clippers could stand pat and decide not make a move.

As it stands, the Clippers are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 35-15 record. They've piled on the wins despite George missing 21 games, Kawhi Leonard missing 12, Landry Shamet missing 17, and Patrick Beverley missing 11. That's not including reserves who have missed upwards of 8 games in JaMychal Green and Rodney McGruder.

Oh, did I mention the Clippers' 35-15 record is the best start through 50 games in franchise history.

There have been reports over the last few days that the Clippers are looking to bolster their roster at the point guard and center positions. If you ask George, however, you'll get a far different response.

“I think this locker room is good, we’re in a good place,” said Paul George in response to the fast-approaching deadline. “And we hope this is the roster, going down the stretch, that we keep. I enjoy every player on this team, I enjoy this locker room and I’m happy with who's in our locker room.”

The Clippers don't have many holes, but they do need a bit more size and playmaking off the bench.

“I think, fortunately for us, I haven’t heard anybody on the hot seat,” George added.

In recent days, the Clippers have been linked to centers Andre Drummond and Dewayne Dedmon. Both centers have been reportedly on the market and are very gettable in a for the right price. What is that price if you're the Clippers, and does either move the needle enough for you to make a deal?

All of those remain to be seen.

Through 29 games played, George is averaging 22.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.4 three-pointers per game on 42.7% from beyond the arc and 39.1 percent from beyond the arc.

The NBA's trade deadline is Thursday at 3PM EST.
