Blake Griffin had a monster performance in the Detroit Pistons' 109-104 victory over his former team, the L.A. Clippers.

He returned to the Clippers' home floor for the first time since he was shockingly traded to the Pistons last year. Griffin poured in 44 points on 13-of-23 shooting, eight rebounds, and five assists in the win.

While fans welcomed Blake Griffin with cheers, a familiar face didn't seem to be too welcoming as Griffin's former teammate Patrick Beverley confronted him at the end of the game.

It's unclear what Beverley's reason was for him to talk smack to Griffin, but the All-Star forward isn't having any of it. He calmly walked away from the altercation.

However, Beverly followed him and the two had to be separated. Blake Griffin then decided to face his former Clippers teammate to find out what his problem was, and after a few seconds, they hugged it out.

They just missed each other, that's all.

The two were part of the Clippers' franchise for a couple of years. They were both instrumental in leading that team to the playoffs, and although they were not able to get past the Western Conference semifinals, there is no denying that they made the team fun to watch.
