Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo described why Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is such a great player.

In a thrilling game, Giannis and the Bucks beat the Durant and the Nets 117-114. Giannis finished with 49 points while Durant had 42. It was clear throughout the game that they are both amazing talents on the floor.

Kevin Durant of the Nets is a once in a generation type talent and Giannis fully acknowledges that. We have never seen a player that is 6'11 that can shoot over anyone and always get to his spot. He is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history. He has a good handle and his elite shooting and slashing abilities allow him to score from anywhere. He strikes fear into every other team in the league as they know they have to guard him.

Durant and the Nets looked like they are ready for the playoffs in this game against the Bucks. This seemed to be a feel out game for both teams as they may meet in the postseason. With James Harden still out, Kyrie Irving and Durant have kept the team afloat and they have looked good.

Even with a loss, the Nets showcased their versatility and what they are made of in this game. DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin contributed well in this game and their play will be key in the Nets playoff run. Expect to see more 40 point performances  rom Durant when the playoffs arrive.

There may never be a talent like Kevin Durant again, so make sure to appreciate him while he is still here. Everyone will be watching as Durant tries to lead the Nets to their first NBA championship. The franchise won two ABA titles in the mid-1970s before the ABA folded.

The Nets were one of a few ABA franchises to merge with the NBA. The club lost in the NBA Finals in 2002 and 2003 and hasn't been back to the Finals since. If anyone can carry them there, it's Durant.
