Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden drained the go-ahead 3-pointer against Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns to complete a massive 24-point comeback.

Without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, Harden carried the entire Nets on his shoulder by erasing a 24-point deficit. He capped off the comeback with his dreaded step-back 3-pointer near the 30-second mark of the final quarter.

As it turned out, Harden's clutch shot from deep was enough to give the Nets the victory, 128-124. The Beard led all scorers with 38 points on 14-of-22 from the field, 5-of-11 from downtown, and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. He also had seven rebounds and 11 assists.

Durant was out due to a mild hamstring strain while Irving had to sit out due to lower back tightness. The Nets initially looked downtrodden especially as the Suns mounted a huge 24-point lead.

But people seem to have forgotten that Harden is used to putting a team on his broad shoulders. He did it numerous times with the Houston Rockets when he was the team's lone star. During the times when Chris Paul was out due to injuries, Harden showcased that has the skill and will to power his team to a victory. On Tuesday against the Suns, Harden reminded everyone that he possesses that same mentality.
