Fans are used to seeing Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving drop defenders on the court with his ankle-breaking crossovers. Turns out, Uncle Drew can also spit some bars, as he teased some content from his never-before-heard mixtapes in an Instagram Live on Friday.

Irving dropped some of the verses of his self-recorded rap songs, much to the delight of his millions of followers.

Kyrie Irving, for what it's worth, is expected to have a bounce-back year in the 2020-21 season after suiting up in just 20 games during his Nets debut. The six-time All-Star had a scintillating start in Brooklyn where he notched 27.4 points on 47.8 shooting from the field and 39.4 from deep, along with 5.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steal.

The Nets are expected to be instant title contenders this coming season with Irving and fellow superstar Kevin Durant back to a hundred percent. The 6-foot-2 Nets guard has been the subject of headlines once more as of late, especially after referring to the media as mere pawns following his fine from the league.
