For the second time this season, Chicago Bulls power forward Bobby Portis was ejected from a game. This time, it was for picking up two technicals as a result of an altercation between him and Celtics power forward Marcus Morris during the Bulls' 111-104 loss to Boston on Friday.
However, Portis is still scratching his head over why he was thrown out of a tie game with just 1:44 left in the third quarter.
“I can’t really tell you what happened. I ain’t do nothing. I just got ejected. I can’t say too much because I’ll get fined again for saying the wrong thing,” Portis said, via Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic.
Portis also added that he won't discuss the issue much more because he does not want to take a hit in the wallet from the NBA.

“Nothing happened. I’m walking up to play D. He called a tech. That’s all that happened. It doesn’t make sense,” Portis said. “I’ve been getting techs all year that don’t make sense. I don’t really want to harp on it too much because I don’t want to lose any money.”
A video of the altercation between Portis and Morris, which was posted to Twitter by NBC Sports Boston, can be viewed below.

This really does not seem to be that serious of an incident whatsoever, as players seem to talk trash like this more often than people realize. A technical foul for the shove is justified, but Portis and Morris should not have been ejected from this game for bad language.
