The Charlotte Hornets will be a new-look team next season with the departure of All-Star point guard Kemba Walker. They found a new starting point guard in Terry Rozier, and head coach James Borrego is already looking forward to running the show with his new playmaker.

During an interview on NBA TV, Borrego said that he wants the Hornets to play faster and take advantage of Rozier's speed. The young head coach added that playing faster and downhill will help them manufacture offense easily.

Rozier, who will be entering his fifth year in the league, will finally get a chance to showcase his skills. In his first four seasons in the league, the 25-year-old point guard has played the backup role, most recently to former Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving.

The former Louisville standout, who was the 16th overall pick in 2015, found himself on the move after the Celtics and the Hornets agreed to a sign-and-trade agreement for Walker. And he's already embracing his role:

“Who doesn’t want to be the starter or leader of a team?” Rozier said via Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald. “I’ve had a chance to talk to the young guys. Will be fun, a nice journey. It’s a huge step. Very crazy, all over the place.”

The young playmaker is ready for the new chapter of his career, and is ready to lead the Hornets next season.
