No team was more active this offseason in adding star talent than the Chicago Bulls. They already had Zach LaVine and traded for all-star Nikola Vucevic at the NBA Trade Deadline.

This offseason, they added Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan to the mix as well. All of a sudden, the Bulls will go from nonexistent playoff miss to a potential middle of the pack team in the Eastern Coference.

With the stars comes more national attention for the Bulls as the NBA schedule was released Friday. Here are three must watch games for the Bulls following the NBA schedule release.

3.) vs. Brooklyn Nets / January 12th

If the Bulls want a real measuring stick matchup, look no further than the Brooklyn Nets and their big three of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. If Brooklyn stays healthy this season, many have them pegged to win the NBA title.

The amount of star power and pure intrigue on the court in this Bulls – Nets matchup is massive. Durant, Harden, Irving along with Ball, LaVine, DeRozan and Vucevic. Who knows, maybe even Patrick Williams bursts onto the scene for the Bulls this year?

It's just one of 82 but it would be sweet if the Bulls could land a win on the United Center floor against the Nets.

2.) @ New Orleans Pelicans / March 24th

We had to get one of the homecomings wedged onto this list. And who won't tune in when Ball goes back to New Orleans to take on Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram?

The Pelicans are trying to build around Williamson and Ingram while also making sure Zion doesn't become disgruntled along the way.

This matchup in the Big Easy when the Bulls head south is littered with young stars across the board. Both Chicago and New Orleans figure to have wildly entertaining teams to watch this season with plenty of offensive options.

Lonzo's homecoming to New Orleans along with the abundance of big name players in this matchup makes it a must watch.

1.) vs. New York Knicks / October 28th

Storylines aplenty in this matchup between giant market Eastern Conference foes. When the Knicks head to take on the Bulls in Chicago on October 28, it will be Derrick Rose and Tom Thibodeau back in Chicago along with two teams that will likely be vying for playoff positioning in the East.

The Knicks and Bulls are both on an upward trajectory in the East and while it might be a stretch, this could even be a 4-5 matchup in the NBA playoffs.

The Knicks have vets like Kemba Walker, Julius Randle and Evan Fournier but also have young promising players like RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley. The same can be said for the Bulls with their cast of characters. And Thibodeau coming back to where he got his stomping grounds going as a head coach makes for a picture perfect matchup between these two teams.

Two teams on the rise in the Eastern Conference and D-Rose back in Chicago alongside Thibs. Everyone signs up for that without any hesitation.
