The Chicago Bulls have been playing like one of the best teams in all of basketball throughout the season when they are healthy and a big reason for that is because of just how good DeMar DeRozan has been.

On the season, DeRozan is putting up video game type of numbers for the Bulls as he's averaging 26.7 points with 5.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists. He also has the 11th highest PER in the league. Many people were questioning why DeRozan decided to go to the Bulls during the offseason and if it was going to work, but it clearly has.

When asked why he went to Chicago on the Knuckleheads podcast, DeMar had this to say:

“I've done, did everything other than make the finals. It gave me that whole underdog mentality I have had my whole career. Imagine going there and winning in Chicago, oh my God.”

Winning the championship for the Bulls would be one of the greatest things that have happened in the past decade for basketball. They have one of the best fans in all of the NBA so them winning a title once again would surely bring a bunch of joy to the organization and the city of Chicago.

The Bulls certainly have a good chance of winning an NBA title. It's not going to be easy going through the big dogs of the Eastern Conference in the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets, but DeRozan and company certainly have enough talent to compete with the best of them.
