This was just an embarrassing moment for the Chicago Bulls. Facing the Charlotte Hornets in their home season finale, the team was hoping to inject some life into the fanbase. Instead, though, they got absolutely annihilated by LaMelo Ball and company, resulting in a 133 â 117 game that was not as close as the final score indicates.
This string of rough performances from the team has frustrated many Bulls fans. DeMar DeRozan spoke out after the game, saying that they were simply beaten up by a good team. (via K.C Johnson)
âWe got our ass beat. Simple as that. They attacked us. We couldnât guard them. They had their way.â

The Bulls have struggled mightily in the second half of the season after their hot start to the season. As a result, they've fallen all the way to the sixth spot and are in danger of being relegated to the play-in tournament. In particular, the team has struggled against teams above .500, as they've lost nearly every single game against top contenders.
After a brief reincarnation as Michael Jordan, DeMar DeRozan has come back down to Earth. In response, his Bulls teammates have failed to pick up the slack, especially on defense. The absence of Lonzo Ball has stymied the once-good Chicago defense, causing them to give up more than 100 points to sub-par offenses.
After a season filled with optimism, the Bulls fanbase is dreading the start of the postseason. With Ball now ruled out of the season, their free-fall may continue well into the playoffs⌠if they get there at all.
