Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan scored 21 points while shooting 7-of-23 from the field back on March 24, 1995 against the Orlando Magic. It was Jordan's first game at the United Center during his comeback tour.

The Magic wound up defeating Jordan and the Bulls by a final score of 106-99. Orlando star point guard Penny Hardaway had 22 points and six assists, while a young Shaquille O'Neal racked up 24 points and 16 rebounds.

The Magic wound up beating MJ and the Bulls in the 1995 playoffs as well.

In an interview with Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Hardaway talked about how Jordan was rusty during his third game back and wasn't used to the United Center rims:

“All I can remember was that he was not comfortable inside of the new arena, the United Center,” Hardaway said.

“He was more comfortable in Chicago Stadium. He knew the baskets really well in Chicago Stadium, obviously, and moving to a new arena really had him shaken up a little bit.”

After losing to the Magic in the '95 playoffs, Michael Jordan and the Bulls won three straight championships. MJ and Chicago finished the 90s with six rings and Jordan had all six Finals MVPs.

Penny Hardaway and the Magic lost to the Houston Rockets in the 1995 Finals in four games. Orlando met the Bulls in the 1996 Eastern Conference Finals, where Chicago won in a sweep.

Jordan finished his Bulls career with averages of 31.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists. Along with his six titles and six Finals MVPs, MJ was a five-time regular-season MVP and 14-time All-Star.
