$500. That's the starting bid for a pair of used Michael Jordan boxer shorts that recently went up for sale via auction. Quite a reasonable price for a piece of GOAT memorabilia, right? That is if you're into that kind of thing.

MJ's underwear is being auctioned off at Leland's and as of writing, it's gotten just one bid. Not surprising. Then again, there are still several weeks remaining before the auction ends, so this “unique” piece of memorabilia could still chase a lofty price in the near future.

According to the item's description, Jordan's compression shorts comes from the personal collection of MJ's own bodyguard, John Michael Wozniak. For authenticity, the website also provides proof as to how the item was actually used by the Chicago Bulls legend:

Unusual item shows definite use as this pair of underwear/compression shorts was worn by Michael Jordan with some loose threads evident at the seams. Originating from a family member of MJ's “Last Dance” security guard John Michael Wozniak, it even has a dry cleaning tag inside with the last name “Wozniak” as well as a tag that says Michael Jordan, with the iconic last name on the waistband.

Apparently, this is just one of the items Jordan gave to Wozniak. His Airness also gifted his former bodyguard with ties, belts, suits, and jackets. There is no doubt, however, that Jordan's underwear has to be the most intriguing piece among the bunch.

Any takers?
