The Chicago Bulls came up with another win on Monday night as they took down Trae Young and the Hawks in Atlanta, 130-118. This was thanks in large part to big performances courtesy of Chicago's superstar duo of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.

The Bulls pair came out firing off the gate. So much so, that the red-hot LaVine and DeRozan achieved a historic milestone in the first half of action (h/t NBA.com/Stats on Twitter):

As the above tweet notes, this is the first time a pair of teammates logged at least 20 points and five assists in the first half. This is a feat that was achieved for the first time by the Bulls duo since the 1997-98 season. Not even one of the greatest pairings of all time in the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal were able to achieve this statistical anomaly.

LaVine and DeRozan kept it going in the second half. LaVine finished with 30 points, four rebounds, nine assists, a steal, and five triples, while DeRozan logged a game-high 35 points, five boards, and 10 dimes.

Not to be outdone, Nikola Vucevic also stuffed the stat sheet in this one with a massive 24-point, 17-rebound double-double with six assists and four blocks. Talk about a huge performance by the Bulls Big 3, right?
