The Chicago Bulls take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, and it looks like the team is going to have starting shooting guard Zach LaVine back in the lineup.

Zach LaVine didn't play on Wednesday against the Miami Heat due to a sprained ankle. Bulls head coach Jim Boylen told reporters on Saturday the high-flyer is feeling better and will give it a go versus Charlotte.

In 45 games this season for the Bulls, LaVine is averaging 22.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists. The 23-year-old, who is leading the team in scoring, is shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from beyond the arc and 86.5 percent from the free-throw line.

LaVine is actually dealing with soreness in both of his ankles. He sprained his left ankle earlier in the season against the Orlando Magic in Mexico City and it has been lingering ever since. LaVine then tweaked his right ankle on Jan. 29 versus the Brooklyn Nets.

The Bulls signed LaVine to a four-year, $78 million contract last summer.

The Bulls enter Saturday with a record of 12-40. They are in the 13th spot in the Eastern Conference standings. Chicago defeated the Heat on Wednesday without LaVine, winning by a final score of 105-89 in South Beach.
