The Chicago Bulls have been one of the most pleasant surprises this season. Although right now, they're dealing with several injuries and the COVID-19 situation. Still, their smart offseason moves have really paid off, leading to a 19-10 record, which is second-best in the Eastern Conference.
Several NBA experts, however, believe the Bulls are not done wheeling and dealing. In fact, rumors are swirling that they could be one of the biggest suitors of a two-way star as the NBA trade deadline approaches. The acquisition of said player would push the Bulls to an even better position in terms of firepower. That guy is Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant.
According to Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz, the Bulls should go all-in on plucking Grant from the Pistons. Even though he's out for six weeks due to a thumb injury, the versatile forward could definitely be an asset for the Bulls in the NBA Playoffs.
For Swartz, an ideal deal would be the Bulls receiving Grant in exchange for Coby White, Derrick Jones Jr., Tony Bradley, and a protected first-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

It's worth noting, though, that despite getting a lot of offers after his breakout campaign with the Denver Nuggets, Grant specifically chose to go to the Pistons because of the strong African-American community in Detroit. So he might get unhappy if he gets shipped out to the Bulls. But that's getting too ahead of ourselves.
The Bulls already have a solid core in DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, and Nikola Vucevic. Adding Grant would only make them better.
Editor's Note: The headline of this story initially claimed this trade as a rumor, but it's just an idea and a change has been made to reflect this.
