Trade talks around Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez have stayed relatively quiet with the NBA trade deadline coming up, according to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Lopez is making $14,357,750 this season, the final year of his contract. With the Bulls in rebuild mode, the prevailing thought was Chicago would look to move Lopez, but it doesn't appear there's a trade market for him right now.
The NBA market is fickle, however, and talks quieted around Lopez, and have stayed relatively quiet, according to a league source.

In 45 games this season for the Bulls, Lopez is averaging 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. The 10-year pro is shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 27.8 percent from beyond the arc and 67.4 percent from the free-throw line.
Chicago is 12-41 on the season, 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bulls lost rookie big man Wendell Carter Jr. to a thumb injury which required surgery. Carter Jr. is most likely done for the season, so Lopez has been in the starting lineup lately.
The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. Lopez was previously linked to the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. It looks like barring a late change, Lopez is going to finish out the season in Chicago unless he's bought out after the deadline.
