Cornhusker football has kicked off and actress Gabrielle Union, wife of Chicago Bulls‘ guard Dwyane Wade, was cheering her team on from start to finish.

Union was in full game attire at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday for her alma mater's 43-10 routing of Fresno State to begin its season.

The couple stopped to take a few pictures with some of the program's recruits, including Donovan Peoples-Jones and Damion Daniels.

“I really enjoyed myself, everything was great,” Daniels, a four-star defensive tackle out of Texas, told ESPN's Tom VanHaaren. “When I got to run out on the field with the team, when I met Gabrielle Union, it really wasn’t a dull moment down there.”

While celebrities being brought in to get recruits to sign has gotten mixed reviews, there's no harm in a couple supporting a team and attending some games.

Kudos to Wade and Union for being so approachable.
