Luka Doncic will be making his return to Dallas for the first time since the Mavericks traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers, and it will be one of the most highly anticipated matchups this season. There's no doubt that there will be a lot of people in attendance, and Dirk Nowitzki is supposed to be in the building for Doncic's return, according to Kevin Gray Jr.
Doncic and Nowtizki seem to have a strong bond with each other, and they were able to play alongside each other during Doncic's rookie season. Since then, Nowitzki has been very supportive of Doncic and what he was able to do in Dallas, and there's no surprise that he will be in attendance for this game.

The game may been a little more to Doncic, especially since he was obviously the franchise player of the Mavericks until they surprisingly traded him. Since the trade, the Mavericks have been through a lot when it comes to the fans being highly upset, while the team itself has been dealing with so many injuries that it caused them to drop in the standings.
For Doncic, he's had major success with the Lakers since arriving on the team, and they're fighting for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference right now. It'll be interesting to see what the reception for Doncic will look like when he steps on the floor in Dallas.
