The Dallas Mavericks are not having a great year on or off the court, but it appears they have still done enough to secure a sponsorship on their jerseys. This is according to Bobby Karalla of Mavs.com.

The Mavs have reached a jersey patch sponsorship agreement with Dallas-based @5milesapp. More too with it, including crypto and blockchain capabilities with purchasing tickets.

The 5Miles company is a Dallas based company where you can buy and sell all kinds of used things including clothes, cars, and so much more. They also can be used to promote a small business hoping to get more customers.  According to the description of their app:

“5miles is the top-rated buy and sell app: local shopping made easy, safe, and fun. Discover great classifieds in your area or far away. Buy & sell your stuff, find a place to live, hire local services, or get a new job all from the comfort of your smartphone. FREE to list. FREE to discover. Buy and sell within 5 miles”

At this time 5miles is more of a local company in the Dallas Area, but it's pretty clear with their investment with the Mavs they are trying to become more of a national brand.

Karalla also noted that the Mavs' partnership with 5Miles will run for three years.

Three years. They have 1 million Dallas-based users. They're still a new company but they've got a strong customer base locally.

The Mavs currently own a 19-45 record and are on pace to finish this season with one of the franchise's worst records in team history.
