Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is at a loss for words after leading Slovenia to the Tokyo Olympics for the first time in the nation's history
Doncic was sensational for the national team, dropping a triple-double of 31 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists in their final game against Lithuania to qualify for the Olympics this summer. Aside from helping his country achieve a massive feat, Slovenia is still undefeated in the international competitions that the Mavs star has participated in
After their qualification, Doncic took it to Twitter to express his reaction for the win and excitement for what's to come for Slovenia.

Luka Doncic and Slovenia will play in the preliminary round of the Tokyo Olympics from July 24 until August 1. After which, the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played until August 7.
For what it's worth, Doncic is on a mission to bring Slovenia to Olympic glory. The Mavs playmaker said so as much after their win over Slovenia earlier in the week, highlighting that bagging the Olympic gold would be much more meaningful to him compared to taking the NBA title.
“I'd say gold medal with Slovenia. You play for your country and that's something… but I wouldn't mind both,” Doncic said when asked wat's more important to him.
Doncic is now halfway through to make that happen. Nonetheless, the road for the Mavs superstar doesn't get any easier, as he is now set to face some of the best players the world has to offer.
