Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks sees great things ahead for Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, and he even predicts that the Mavs' rookie will be a superstar and will dominate the league in the years to come.
Ahead of the Wizards Tuesday visit to the Mavs at the American Airlines Center, Brooks opened up what he thought about Doncic. And he didn't hold back and showered the Slovenian rising star with praises, per Fred Katz of The Athletic.

While the NBA stigma about European players hounded Doncic in the months leading up to the 2018 NBA draft, the 19-year-old has more than proven now that he's the real deal.
Article Continues BelowDoncic is currently leading the Mavs in scoring with 19.4 points per game. He is also the team's second-best rebounder and distributor, putting up 6.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists on a nightly basis.
Furthermore, the 2018 EuroLeague MVP is currently ahead of all rookies in scoring. He is in the top four in rebounding among rookies and second in assists, only behind Atlanta Hawks youngster Trae Young.
Brooks certainly isn't wrong about his assessment of Doncic, and if the young Mav keeps up his performance, he will undoubtedly be a superstar sooner rather than later.
Doncic is currently dealing with an ankle injury, making him questionable for their game versus the Wizards. And while Brooks has a lot of good things to say about the Real Madrid product, he would surely like it more if he'll rest in the game as the 2-7 Washington aims to climb up the East ladder.
