Super rookie Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks drained a contested 3-pointer right in front of defensive specialist Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors. The Mavs phenom did not seem to care about the fact that Leonard was the one checking him.

Doncic hoisted up a desperation 3-pointer over the outstretched arms of Leonard. The Mavs were trying their best to mount a comeback at that point. And no one else but the 19-year-old Slovenian mustered up the courage to lead his squad to a possible comeback in the game's last 30 seconds.
The Mavs came up short, 123-120. Apart from Doncic's amazing 3-pointer, he also tallied a triple-double with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. This made the 19-year-old Slovenian the first teenager in league history with a 30-point triple-double, as well as the first teenager with multiple triple-doubles.
Doncic, who’ll be turning 20 years old next month, is regarded as the future of the NBA as early as now. He's a cinch to win Rookie of the Year and also has a solid chance at being selected to the All-Star team by the coaches.
The Mavs are likely to say goodbye to Dirk Nowitzki by season's end, but the franchise appears to be in good hands with Doncic leading the way.
