As the Dallas Mavericks played their penultimate preseason game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, it coincided with the final Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
The Mavs had their worst showing so far in the series of exhibition games. Rick Carlisle‘s team started with a 21-4 deficit and trailed the entire game, eventually losing 106-91. The head coach was not pleased with his squad's performance and gave an analogy, as well as a jab, to the Republican candidate:
Rick Carlisle: "The beginning of the game was abominable. It was a Donald Trump debate performance."

With his statement, Carlisle made it clear who he is voting for. It's the same candidate his boss, Mark Cuban, publicly supported as well.
