We may have to wait for at least a decade but Isaiah Thomas of the Denver Nuggets is already setting up his sons' future in the NBA.
In a series of tweets, Thomas sent out a profile of two of his sons' playstyle. He compared them to the likes of star guards Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, John Wall, Klay Thompson, and of course, himself. He noted, however, that he just can't give out their potential height just yet.
The spate of tweets started out with a question:
Any coaches want to pick up two scoring guards that have POTENTIAL to be the best players to ever play??

Then:
1. James Thomas class of 2029! Fast as John wall, shoots like curry, heart like ME, built like Eric Bledsoe lol… Only thing is I can’t give you his potential height yet

And another:

2. Jaiden Thomas class of 2030. Explosive like Westbrook, handles like Kyrie, shoots like Klay Thompson & carries himself like Dame lillard. Potential height undisclosed but you get the picture lol. Oh and he’s left handed!

Thomas attempted to play innocent, claiming that he doesn't know the players he just mentioned.
I don’t know those kids personally but I’ve seen them play LOL. They got GAME

As Thomas mentioned, his sons will be part of the 2029 and 2030 draft classes, respectively. Given the timeline, Thomas will probably be long-retired then. But the lessons he taught them would still resonate. Will we see Thomas' classic moves being imitated by his sons? Or will they develop a playstyle of their own?
But first things first, will they have the skill and endurance to make it to the NBA? Their father, despite being a standout in college, was the last overall pick in 2011. But he worked his way up the top and now, he's a household name.
