It seems like Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic keeps on breaking team records, and he cracked another one on Sunday night in Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

After recording 21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, Jokic had his fourth postseason triple-double. This made him the owner of the most triple-doubles in Nuggets history, passing “Fat” Lever in the process.

The league has never really seen a big man like Jokic, who seemingly racks up triple-doubles effortlessly. The Serbian national is a seven-footer who stretches the floor like a wing and passes the ball like a point guard.

While the rebounds come easily because of his height, Jokic's passing ability might be the most impressive aspect of his game. He constantly threads passes to cutters that require pinpoint accuracy. Guards Jamal Murray and Gary Harris are frequent beneficiaries of perfect assists that lead to an easy layup.

Not only did Jokic achieve a new honor, but he also moved his team one game closer to reaching the Western Conference Finals. The series between the Nuggets and the Blazers is now tied up at two games apiece, with Game 5 looming large.

The Nuggets have regained homecourt advantage and will look to benefit from it on Tuesday, May 7, in the Pepsi Center. If Jokic gets his fifth postseason triple-double, Denver will like their chances of reaching the Conference Finals just one year after not even qualifying for the playoffs.
