After their Game 2 loss, Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic tagged it as a ‘weird' game, noting that the Portland Trail Blazers weren't in the A-game all night. Per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post, Wednesday night was a ‘weird' game and a weird day for Jokic.

“It was a weird game for us. They didn't even play that good, to be honest. They can play better than that. Weird game, weird day.”

Though the Blazers shot at a decent 42.4 percent clip from the field, their star guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum had a rough night. Lillard finished with just 14 points on 5-of-17 shooting from the field and 1-of-7 from downtown. McCollum, for his part, struggled early on but crawled his way to 20 points on 40 percent shooting. Though they led by as much as 17 points, the Nuggets came close in the fourth quarter.

But just as Jokic said, it was just a weird game. Denver snagged a total of 23 offensive rebounds as opposed to just seven by the Blazers. They had every opportunity to steal the game in the fourth quarter, but their second-chance opportunities just failed to drop. Overall, the Nuggets shot a horrendous 34.7 percent from the field and 20.7 percent from the 3-point line. With the series tied at 1-1, Game 3 will shift to Portland on Friday.
