Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic is known by many things, but being a slam dunk specialist is certainly not one of them.

On Saturday night, Jokic wowed the crowd with his coast-to-coast slam in the Nuggets' 123-110 victory against the visiting Charlotte Hornets. The dunk was an absolute rare sighting, and it definitely gave the home supporters something to cheer about.

After the game, Jokic was sought out for comments about his thunderous jam. When asked how his slam compared to that of high-flying teammate Torrey Craig, Jokic was adamant that his entry was much more appealing than that of Craig's.

Jokic may not be an outstanding dunker, but he sure has a great sense of humor in his 6-foot-10, 250-pound frame.

Despite having only made one memorable dunk, Jokic still made the most noise on the evening. He dropped a season-high 39 points on 16-of-29 shooting along with three three-pointers, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and one block. The Hornets had absolutely no answer for Jokic on Saturday.

The Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, winning all five of their previous matches. At 26-11, they currently hold the top spot in an overly-competitive Western Conference. This is obviously thanks in large part to the outstanding play of Jokic, whose strong performances have allowed him to slowly creep his way into the MVP conversation at this point in the season.
