During his last four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Nick Young developed the reputation as being one of a light-hearted player off the court through his outgoing personality.
In this time, he gave himself the nickname “Swaggy P” to further extenuate his huge persona away from the court. However, this is something that Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers isn't having any of with his team.
Myers: "We're not calling him Swaggy P. His name's Nick Young."

It is quite a stern stance from Myers, but it also shows the seriousness that the Warriors operate with on a daily basis. There is an established culture in place with the organization where the primary focus is on the product on the court and not what is away from it.
This doesn't mean that Young can't still be his outgoing self with the media, but rather that those antics shouldn't be the center of attention for him with Golden State. It may be who he is genuinely as a person, but that isn't necessarily what his new team is looking for him to bring to the table.
In fact, the Warriors are hoping his scoring production off the bench can be another critical piece of the puzzle in helping them reach a fourth straight NBA Finals and win a third NBA title over that span. If he can quickly prove that he can fulfill that role, all the other things away from the court will be embraced by the franchise to a much greater degree.
